Mia Motley Slipped into Jamaica Quietly

Tony Patel and PM Mia Motley

A few minutes ago, Prime Minister Mia Motley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, bumped into Tony Patel at a supermarket in Kingston. She easily recognized Tony the well-known media personality and she remembered him reading the news. Mia Motley has lived in Jamaica. She seemed to have slipped into Jamaica and will probably slip out again. I understand that a few other Caribbean leaders do that too. Prime Minister Gonsalves of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is known to do that. I understand that Jamaicans in the supermarket really made her feel welcome.

Now that is sweet! Welcome Miss Mia. Do come again. She IS Jamaican indeed. She doesn't just talk about leadership and caring for her people, she backs it up with action. A well respected woman!

She Mia has turned out to be a real Caribbean leader.
Something I admire about Barbados their currency never moves higher than 2:1 $US and among the worlds highest literacy rates upwards of 99%.
Jamaica is 88% the 10th lowest in the Caribbean as Haiti is at 13th.
Their per Capita GDP is nearly 4 times that of Jamaica which is closer to Haiti .
We need to learn somethings from Barbados.
Gwaan Mia do yuh thing we proud a yuh.

I admire Prime Minister Mia Motley for her strength as a Caribbean leader. She is never timid about her expressions of truth of self and the country she is elected to represent. Welcome to Jamaica Prime Minister Motley.

O my gosh! She is the Best across the Caribbean and I would say, across the world 🌍. This is no nonsense Prime Minister. She no minced word. She is on a mission to get things done for her country and she means business. If our leaders could take a page out of her book. Jamaica would be way better and by far on a better place than where we are now.
