I want to hear from the relatives of the lady shown in the picture above. Dee Anthony, a Facebook user, can you give me more information? A significant amount of false information is being posted online about Jamaica. I would like to know the name of this lady and the period that she sat in a chair and eventually died at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
I will do all that is possible to have this matter investigated at the highest level.
We must investigate this matter to ascertain its veracity. Are people overseas just making mischief and trying to damage the name of our island?

I trust you will be able to get to the truth of this case, we have heard of too many ‘unreal’ and unbelievable episodes of ‘lak-a-treatment’ that our citizens endure at our hospitals.

It would not be a shocker if it turns out to be true. The public health facilities have been upgrading themselves into "Death Centres". They need a wake up call. Action should be taken against all on duty who came in direct contact with her or knew of her case while she was there but failed to attend to her with urgency. Until they feel it, nothing will change.
