Jamaicans are becoming more and more violent these days. We seem to be willing to kill for anything and to kill anyone. You 'dis' someone and you could get killed for that. We have become too agressive.
What is getting common these days is that some of us fall in love and end up killing our partners. I guess the whole world is going crazy. Let's not believe that only men kill their partner because women also kill their partners.
We need to start guiding our children about entering into relationships. We need to guide them as to how to recognize an abusive partner. One who is controlling and one who feels that you should not have any friends can be a controlling and abusive person. We need to advise our children to stay away from these persons. Many abusive persons are from homes where they were abused as children and to them, to be abusive is normal. They have learnt this behaviour as a child and it has now become a part of their adult life.
Recently a gentleman I was told got involved with a lady whose friends support same sex relationships. The lady's friends would have none of it because he was taking away their beauatiful prize. The stupid man apparently thought that he could win over a lesbian.
He was invited to visit his lady friend which he did and that was his last visit. One of the ladies who was very jealous and who got into a rage, pulled a firearm and that was the end of the story. The other friends had planned to beat the gentleman but the killer had a different idea. Now they are all in jail.
Many persons are getting involved in sexual activities with two or more persons. There is also wife swapping. These are dangerous practices. Not only can you end up getting a deadly sexual diseases but persons can become attached to others during group sex which will create major problems. Those who are involved in wife swapping could end up loving their friend's wife and you end up with two couples breaking up. The matter becomes more complex when you have children involved.
Getting involved in group sex can expose you to same sex relationships which you might not like and which can haunt you in the future. All of this can result in violence and possible deaths.
We need to go back to our simple life styles. Satan seem to have taken over our island and his evil spirit stalks the land.

Yes Vernon, I think a huge part of the problem is that they do not know that they were made in the image of God for His pleasure, so they think life can exist without God and therefore they can do their own thing. They are uninformed about the existence of the enemy of God that you mention, and don't realize that we need to fight him, and fight him not with our own strength, which is futile, but with the weapons that God provides. We are being destroyed for lack of knowledge!
