Credit Card Scam, Who Next!!! - Vernon Derby

Commissioner of Police Major General Anthony Anderson.

Person or persons cloned the Commissioner of Police credit card and ran up a bill of approximately JAD1.3 million? How is this possible? This report in the Daily Gleaner is just unbelievable!!!

• Is this the Commissioner's personal credit card?
• What is the limit on the credit card?
• Is there a system put in place by the bank to check unusual activity on a credit card account?
• Is the Commissioner of Police credit card one which requires you to use it with a PIN?
• I wonder if the Commissioner of Police, checks online to monitor payments from his credit card?
• Does the bank have a system in place to send messages to a customer when payments are made using the credit card especially if it is above a certain amount?

This is indeed a very embarrassing position for the Commissioner of Police to be in. If he a former head of the army, a senior person in the public sector and now a Commissioner of Police can be targeted, it means the rest of us are in a hopeless position!!!

We need to send a very strong message to the culprits or the culprit. The culprit or culprits should lose possible 90% of their assets and  should serve some time in her majesty's hotel.
