WOULD BE ROBBERS NABBED, FIREARM SEIZED IN KINGSTON

PRESS RELEASE

July 05, 2018 – Two alleged robbers were nabbed by a licensed firearm holder and a firearm seized during an attempted robbery on Molynes Road, Kingston 10 on Thursday, July 05.

Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that about 11:55 a.m., three men allegedly attempted to rob persons at a plaza when they were challenged by the licensed firearm holder. Two were subsequently shot and injured and the third man escaped in the area. The Police were summoned and the injured men taken to hospital where they were admitted under police guard.

One .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with three .38 cartridges was seized at the scene.

Investigations continue.
