ESHER Facility

The National Water Commission (NWC) wishes to apologise to customers served by the Esher facility in Hanover, the Maggottyfacility in St. Elizabeth and the Spur Tree facility in Manchester,for the disruption in their water supply due to electrical challenges at the facilities. 

Affected areas include:

In Hanover

Esher, Haughton Court and Providence, served by the Esher facility.

In St. Elizabeth

Maggotty, Cameron Hill, Dry River, Redding and Maggotty Pass, served by the Maggotty facility.

In Manchester

Greenvale, Hatsfield, Dunrobin, Mandeville, Old England, Grey Ground, New Port, Ward Avenue, Heartease, Albion, May Day, Brumalia, Marshalls Pen and Mike Town, served by the Spur Tree facility.

The maintenance team is working assiduously to resolve the challenges and restore water to the areas served by the Esher andMaggotty facilities by 9:00 pm today, and to the areas served by the Spur Tree facility by Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

PIPELINE REPAIR WORK TO AFFECT WATER SUPPLY TO SECTIONS OF ST. JAMES AND WESTMORELAND

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that, operations at the Cambridge Treatment Plant in St. James, have been temporarily suspended to facilitate emergency pipeline repair work. As a result, customers in sections of St. James and Westmoreland, served by this facility will be without piped water.

Every effort is being made to complete the necessary repair work and restore supply to the affected areas by 7:00 pm today.

Areas affected include: Bickersteth, Seven Rivers, Richmond Hill, Shortwood, Cambridge, Ducketts, Grange, Bethel Town, Argyle Mountain and Lambs River.
