Detective Inspector, Donovan 'Hux' O'Connor was shot along with his girlfriend on Waltham Park Road this afternoon. They have both been taken to hospital and my understanding is that the injuries are not serious. The crime scene is currently being processed.
The officer is currently on pre-retirement leave. Some may recall that there were some issues involving him and the Jamaica Constabulary Force which was taken to court.
From unconfirmed reports Detective Inspector Donovan O'Connor has been discharged from the hospital.
