Andrew Wheatley Ensuring Roads Are Being Fixed In His Constituency.

MP. Andrew Wheatley
The following message was received regarding a constituent who had complained to MP Andrew Wheatley about a road in his constituency:

'Please big up my MP. I called him this week to complain about a very bad pot hole riddled Featherbed Lane especially in one particular spot where there is a split all the way across the road and water running into the large hole. MP Wheatley admitted there was limited funding to take on these projects and said he was advocating for assistance from the NWA. I pleaded with him that something must be done urgently and he said he would try to see what he can do. By the end of the day there was a temporary fix to the issue and while not sufficient this is appreciated.'

MP Andrew Wheatley has subsequently informed me that he has directing that his constituency funds be used to fix some of the roads in his constituency. He like other MPs will tell you that the funds are not sufficient to do all the work that is necessary.

Work has been done on 31 St. John's Road and Pittsburg Road in his South Central St. Catherine Constituency. I understand that the residents are quite pleased with the developments since many did not know that they could have 'carpet' for cars to drive on.

  1. That's a fine example, I wish all MP think this way and reach out to the people, then they will understand the little they can do in short term until
