Report just coming in from my On The Ground Reporters is that there is heavy gun fire between gangs in the Maxfield Avenue, Rodney Road and Bentley Road areas in Kingston, Jamaica. We also understand that a lady and a child has suffered gun shot wounds in the chaos now taking place.
Lower Maxfied Avenue has been blocked off and motorists could have a challenge traversing the area. If you are in the area and you have information as to what is happening there, please text and WhatsApp your messages and pictures to (876) 816-5261.
Check on the situation in the Maxfield Avenue area before attempting to enter that area. Use your Google Maps to get an idea of the traffic density in the area.
