Mrs. Linette Duncan

A Tribute To Linette Duncan

Saying good bye to Mrs. Lynette Duncan, a stalwart of our communities. Yes, communities. Although Mrs. Duncan lived in Chudleigh, she was also active in Mount Olivet and to some extent Spaldings. She was a mentor to young people, not only because she was an Educator, but also because of her kind and generous spirit. She was one of our first educators that was employed by the government to streamline early education throughout the country.

Mrs. Duncan was a true Knox College parent since all of her children are Knoxites. She took part in our school activities, including helping to prepare the food for our House parties, particularly Murray House - perhaps one of the few things Murray House was a winner in.😂 She was also a long standing member of the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church and served its community with dedication and care.

On behalf of all Knoxites we send sincere condolences to the family, in particular her children: Charmaine, Donna, Sandra and Patrick Duncan. May all the many and beautiful memories help you all in your grief. May her soul RIP.

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
