Sidewalk Parking - Pedestrians Walk on the Road

The indiscipine continues all across Jamaica and it seems as if no one is in charge.  Have a look at the pictures of the cars below, taken at the corner of Seaward Drive and Olympic Way in Kingston. Pedestrians now have walk on the streets.

If the area is a no parking zone, where is the parking area? If they park at the curb maybe there's more congestion caused by that action?! Could half
on help the situation? Just throwing out suggestions to help both sides! More time!

Vernon, did you give up Acting?

This is the problem with our country, everything is allowed to be out of whack. The municipalities need to do their job, it's not only about the central government. People are allowed to do as they like in our country. There's no Rule Of Law. Look at Lloyd's Hardware, the sidewalk is lined up with all kinds if trucks; they are allowed to have two major gates on Redhills
Road. One of the entrances for these long trailers is not even asphalted, it's a dust contributor, a health hazard to the Community. Redhills Road already has its problem with traffic. Conclusion, "THIS IS A JOKE COUNTRY" a "DO AS YOU LIKE COUNTRY", hence the results..

Good morning, this is like a sidewalk garage or better yet a sidewalk parking lot.

This is quite common but since theres always against this it means the police are not doing their job! Furthermore in some parts of the city people spread out items for sale on the sidewalk or build permanent structures housing restaurants or shops as if it's nothing! What's the use of the KSMAC you wonder!!!

I got involved in other things including starting a family. What I do on radio now involves using that talent.

I agree totally. There is no accountability. No laws are being upheld. People do as they want when they want. Our so called leaders need to step up to the plate, make decisions which will be good for the people of jamaica, whether that decision is popular or not. Be a leader Mr. Prime Minister.
