Mayor Collen Gager was born in the community of Troy in Trelawny. He is a businessman and a farmer, and he serves as a Justice of the Peace for the Parish. His Worship is also the Chairman for the Wilson’s Run Primary School and the Troy High School.
Mayor Gager’s political journey started in 2003 where he contested the Local Government Election in the Warsop Division, and he was successful. Since then, he has been serving as the Councillor for that Division, which includes communities such as Warsop, Troy, Wilson’s Run and Quick Step
In 2007 he was selected to serve as Mayor of Falmouth and Chairman of the Trelawny Parish Council. He was again selected to serve in this capacity in 2016 after his party’s victory in the Local Government Election.
