The following is a release which I received from TODDS

The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services TODSS said it is deeply saddened at the slain of yet another taxi in the line of duty by Coward gun tooting men.

The 11th taxi operator was gun down on Tuesday evening March 28.2023 at the intersection of Molynes and Waltham Park road while another is battling for life in the same incident.

The continued slain of our Transport Operators in this fashion cannot and should not be allowed to continue   a way need to be found, and if this is not done with some degree of urgency we are going to see Transport Operators dying like dogs on our streets as it would be very clear that no one cares.

The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services and it's associate groups and individuals are calling on the Minister of National Security and the Minister of Transport to sit with the sector to find some solution to this problem.

Our condolences and sympathies to the families of our fallen brothers and colleagues, join us on Wednesday March 29 at 11am at site of our fallen brother for a moment of silence. Our Chaplin Prophet Roydel Rowe and the team will visit the families with prayers and support.

We urge all transport operators to be very conscious of their operational space and take nothing for granted.

Another dark day for the public transport sector, just a week ago the 10th operator was gunned down just meters away on the Boulevard.
