Spontaneous Call for Prayer for JTA President, at Sons of the Father Men's Movement Gathering

Bishop Dr. Shirleyann Chong, called a number of church leaders, leaders in the private and the public sector to a Sons of the Father Men's Movement Strategic Leadership Breakfast gathering in Kingston. This took place on April 1, 2023. Emphasis was placed on the boys and men in the society by the movement. Bishop Chong was deeply moved when she talked about some of the young men she saw in our prisons. She also mentioned about men being missing from our homes. 

The Sons of the Father Men's Movement is intended to mentor our boys and our men. The leaders of the movement spoke about Rescuing, Restoring and Repositioning the Men, Fathers, and Elders. Rev, Dr. Maria Harbajan spoke about Restoring a Culture of Honour and Respect, Unlocking the Power and Rewards of Honour.

At the end, there was a prayer for the nation, specifically the government, the opposition, churches, schools, crime, the economy, youth, children, men and others. Prior to the prayer, persons in room, called for a special prayer for the President of the JTA, LaSonja Harrison. There was unanimous support for this call.

    It's the JTA President who needs serious prayer. The entire membership of JTA should pray for her to give much better guidance to her membership in the limited time left in her leadership. Blessings
