The Blood of 8-Year-Old Talia Thompson Is on Us All!

Talia Thompson - 8 years old, Raped and murdered

Talia Thompson, a future Miss World, A future Professor, a future Doctor, a future Teacher a future.....? Now we will never know, because our country has been brutally robbed of this beautiful angel. Someone who must be possessed by demons snuffed out her candle in a few minutes on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in St. Ann. She was raped and murdered by an animal on two feet.

A candle that will never shine again. It will be business as usual in Jamaica. Who cares? We care more for murderers who are incarcerated, criminals who have been deported, and gang members who have been killed by the police. Who cares for this sweet innocent baby with eyes like jewels, a face to charm the coldest heart and a personality that the world would love.

Will there be cries for, "We want Justice?" Will the people take to the streets and say enough is enough, and will our leaders take charge of this country which seems to be competing with Haiti? The murderer will get the best lawyers, and if he does not get justice various organizations will call for him to get justice. In a worst-case scenario, he will get a few years in prison and will be back on the streets in a few years after paying for his crime. He could commit another heinous crime again.

Talia Thompson after she is buried will be forgotten in another nine days.

The killer will continue to enjoy his life. What a country, what a life!!!

The country has failed this little queen, and each one of us shall pay dearly for it.

I am depressed, and my eyes are feeling moist, but Dear Father, give me the strength, the life and the support from others to help stop our beautiful country from sliding further into the bottomless pit of hell!!!

  1. What a tragedy this is where I saw this.I was in St Ann all days and heard nothing.
Rapists of persons under the age of consent should be executed along with murderers.
In a democracy if the state is dictating and not listening to the people you run the danger of the state machinery being ignored and people resort to their own "jungle justice".
What's the point of incarceration and taxpayers being burdened by long sentences at Ja$1.5 million per month.
The state's failure in both policing and administering justice could cause the society to degenerate into chaos and disorder.

  5. Am still asking the question! As long as find the right person who had committed the crime. Why does the person needs a Lawyer. While the family most timesheet are left with the stained and pain of such an untimely death and struggle's that these families have to bare is unbearable. When will Our Prime Minister. Put back hanging on books. When will really put down his Feet's. If not hanging. No food for month. There are other means of dealing with these Evil beast. Than wasting tax payers money on evildoers or on the wrong business bailout. SSL. God is very displeased with the way how operates as a country. It very disturbing. I rest my casa!

  8. The family will NEVER be the same! With God's help they will move forward.....they have to but the pain will be there for life! This is true for ALL the families experiencing the same and that is too many!!

There is so much pain, there is so much innocent blood flowing in the streets of this Country! This is Not Normal! When are we, the men, the women, the Church of Jamaica going to Shout ' ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!' Another family should never have to go through this PAIN!!

The Crying Monument in Downtown Kingston cannot accommodate the names of all our innocent young victims.....so we'll create more monuments?

If a country cannot and will not protect it's innocent children what is it's point, purpose.....Future??

    GOD HELP US!

  9. I am numb! What is happening in Jamaica when it comes to crimes is just unspeakable, I pray that this animal is snuffed out quickly because that animal should not be living among people, I hope and pray when he is identified that he receives the same pain he inflicted on the child don’t waste time and tax payers money on him . This is too painful! Thanks as always V for bringing these stories to light God bless you

  12. A society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable members. "For of such is the kingdom of heaven" We are behaving worst than savages. May God receive his precious child.

  13. Is the government of Jamaica in control of these wicked minds? Jeremiah 17:9, said. "The heart is decietful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it" ? We have some depraved minds in this world. Some of them are in Jamaica

  14. While l agree with the views of so many persons,l wonder,Are parents doing enough to protect their children?

  15. Parents need to be more vigilant as it relates to the welfare of their children. Talk to them about their sexuality at an early age. Make them them be aware of the danger that could be involve.lt is not possible for the state to manage what is happening in everybody s house.

  16. It is amazing how we think when we do not understand the issues. Parents being vigilant and educating youngsters will not stop someone from raping them. We need to deal with the rapist and not insinuate that the parents are to be blamed. A rapist will always be a rapist and if he cannot get to rape A he will rape B. Let's deal with the crim.inals and not blame the victims.

    1. Our foreparents were not cowards so we cannot be talking about being scared.

  18. It is obvious that the nation is not yet tired of the shedding of innocent blood. The government is saddled with the duty to protect its citizens especially the underaged, women, disabled and the elderly.

These incidents of crimes against children are too common and it sends a very deafening message; we do not value the lives of the nation's children. Keep the nine-day, knee jerk phenomenon. Action is needed. Urgent action.

Where are "Hear the Children Cry". "The Children Advocate" or the other advocacy groups? They are not loud enough. Tired of blowing oxygen in thin air and falling on deaf ears?

Jamaicans, you are the owners of the country. Elected officials are chosen to rule the country on your behalf. Stand up and let your voices be heard and be counted as active members in the process of governance.

What is needed here is harsher punishment of murderers, especially murderers of children, women and the elderly. The death penalty or mandatory life imprisonment. It is your right to demand it and see it come to pass. Until then, these types of crimes will continue, as there is nothing to deter those that would commit them. If caught, they can plea and get a lesser sentence. Regardless of the situation, this is an insult and is adding further hurt to the families of murder victims.

The choice is yours. What is your threshold of tolerance? In other words, how much more can you take?

  19. From I heard the news, I knew she was molested that's why they killed her. The grandfather said she came outside to him about something and he sent her back inside to put on her shoes, and after a while he noticed she didn't return he went to check and saw her with a plastic bag over her head on the floor 🤷 who else was there? Do they have an entrance where someone could enter without being notice?
