It is reported in the press that the police are investigating another shooting at a wake. This happened in Hunts Bay, St Andrew. Three people were fatally shot and four others were injured.
Oh yes, the killing continues!

If the killing was affecting a certain class of people to the same extent as it does the lower/ working class, then it would have been addressed more resolutely than it is now.

If the gang members are so trigger happy, can we export them to assist the Palestinians & Hamas?? That's a real war!!
We cannot live like this! Our children suffer, our communities suffer, families suffer, our country suffers! Enough is enough!!
I don’t think they are doing enough to curve crime.
The psychology of crime. Criminals will commit crimes if they believe they can get away with it. Apparently the State is not sending them the kind of message they can comprehend.
It's not a podium declaration that is required, and surely a sudden knee-jerk won't work either. What is needed is a systematic change and consistent efforts to curb crime. Not action credited to a sudden upsurge in criminal activities that dies down as quickly as it emerged.
