Dog Attack at Northside Plaza, Kingston 6

Contributed

The most traumatic thing occurred to me on the 11/09/24  at approximately 5:35PM. In the vicinity of the NCB bank, I was attacked and bitten on my left calf by one of two dogs that are always in the Plaza.

These dogs ๐Ÿ• are sometimes in the company of a man only known as 'Rushy'. I then learned that dog attacks on persons in the plaza had occurred on numerous occasions prior. Dog bites can be serious and one should get a tetanus shot. and also, be treated for the nerve-attacking and brain-killing virus and scabies that can cause death.

Dog Bite nuh easy. North Side Plaza canine mess needs cleaning.

  1. Oh my God!
    I'm so sorry to hear.
    How you doing?
These strays need to be off the streets in safe keeping.
Please get the shots and necessary topical treatments.

  2. Horrible experience!! I trust you have been treated with all the necessaries and more!
There are a number of ownerless dogs on our streets which pose a serious threat to the public. I see these dogs in the New Kingston area when I take my morning walks.
They travel in packs of 4 to 6, or I've seen pairs making their way through the neighbourhoods, I'm am scared of this wild animals.
Yet another situation that needs to be urgently addressed by the local authorities. In the case of an incident, where is there any recourse?
    Be careful out there!

  3. Not good the relevant authority could be contacted to remove them off the street or maybe JSPCA could be asked to assist in removing them too. I've been bitten by a dog from I was about four years old and still have the scar which will take me to my grave
