After reading the Integrity Commission's press release, I said MP Warmington got a knockout punch for the first time. Probably, I was a bit biased against MP Warmington. After listening to the MP, I have concluded that while we definitely need an Integrity Commission, we certainly need a Warmington in the House of Parliament.
Mark my word, Warmington no fool! The Chairman of the Integrity Commission must respond to MP Warmington. The question of the Auditor General being a member of an Integrity Commission which she should also audit, is a serious matter.
I look forward to your comments. This is an important national discussion which we need to have.

How can they audit themself? Integrity? My word!
Leave the IC alone. Can't rate you Vernon.
Maybe we shoukd rewrite all laws. Warrington has never been a fool. He has been ill-tempered, obstreperous and outrageous. Fool is not a word thar shuld be used in sentence with Warmy. His behaviour is not fitting period. The Audit could easily be carried out by a private firm at a cost to the taxpayer even if the Auditor General is a Commissioner. The Auditor General is not conducting spending. So again a smoke screen. God help Jamaica. Here is my question.. There is a parliamentary committee overseeing the work of the IC. Has WARMY raised the iissue there?
Furthermore, performance audits can be requested by the PAC or PAAC. Why is he complaining about the AG being a commissioner when they can change the law as the legislature allows?
Warmington is creating a deflection on behalf of his party. Let the commission do their work. The issue that he’s raising may be valid, but it’s to be dealt with in a different setting at a different time. It’s like trying two different cases at the same time in the same court. He’s trying to discredit the commission on a technicality because his boss is in trouble. A boss that already fired him
I admire Mr Warmington's bold stance! We need many more like him. I was not very impressed with Mr Seymour Panton's contribution- he seems very insincere - I expected better from him- poor fellow
Seymour Panton's time has come..he is overstepping his boundaries and it came out in Parliament the other day. He is no better than Warmington.
Deflection or not, what matters is the merits of the argument.
Seems the supporters of the Orange Village are not interested in the functions of the IC. They're bent on crucifying Holness and have found him guilty of teefing even tho there's no evidence.
Orange Village???? Everything is seen in political terms. Pity!! Cmon people if the PM wrong he is wrong. If he is right he is right. PM must put the information forward and answer the query. Many of those independent voters (neither orange or Green Village) who voted for the JLP want to know. If we do not hear soon they may not be voting that way again. PNP take note, do the same foolisgness you will suffer at the polls.
Warmy needs to attend the meeting and read the papers
I suggest that we should not be overly critical of the Integrity Commission at this time. The focus must be on the corrupted politicians. Why are we diluting that focus now?. The IC MUST be strengthened and given all the support. In time we can address the IC with the sole objective of giving it more resources and power.
