Stella Maris Business Office in St. Andrew Robbed

I received information that two gunmen went onto the premises of the Stella Maris Business Office today at about 1330 EST in St. Andrew. They robbed the business offices of funds. No one was hurt and I understand the two robbers escaped in a car.

We are approaching Christmas and criminals become very active during this period. The Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Ministry of National Security should start a sensitization programme so that people can better understand how to with crime and criminals.

Jamaica needs to get its National Identity System operational soon. This would go a long way in helping us to track and identify criminals.

Citizens have to be very creative in dealing with these criminals.  Some years ago I used my acting skills to escape the hands of these worthless animals. In the middle of being accosted by the thugs, I developed a severe heart attack. My neighbours picked up that something was wrong and called the police. This happened during Christmas!

Last week they tried stealing a car in the neighbourhood and the yelling of persons nearby scared the robbers away.

The criminals tend to also get very active during the rainy season, especially at night when they target the cars.

  3. Bwoy oh bwoy it seems like we will have to lose more of our freedom and privacy to try and get a grip on this monster called crime.
I think we need to have 'Jamaica Eye' installed on every corner, every street and lane. So that when d criminal and teef dem tink dem get whey d po po get on dem like white on rice!! No escape only surrender!!
We KNOW that Jamaica Eye works and since we cannot each have a police officer as a body guard can we invest in the surveillance system that works?
As I said maybe 'other' things will be brought into the light but that is a paltry price to pay for a crime free city.
We need JAMAICA EYE!!! (more than we need nids)

  4. I keep on asking the same question! What happens to the drone network. The soldiers and police should have a security eye 👀 s here there and everywhere. We need back our plan clothes police officers and soldiers to Start giving these monsters a tease mouth of their own medicine 💊. The government needs to get additional security call out the reserve and take back to corner from the evil doers them. After catching them red handed and them serve them time. Prepare work for them and if they do want to do. Then lock them away for good Cause it seems like them no want nothing good 👍.

  5. The Crime industry is huge and profitable as the ligitimate sector plays catchup with the illigitimate sector.

Do you know Criminal Executive Officers(CEOs/DONS) use cameras to watch for police encroachment in some of their areas of control.

When will they step up to drones.
Now Drones are a free for all.
Soon you will allegedly need a license from a Drone Licencing Authority (DLA) allegedly door to the FLA or other licensing Authority.

There are so many side door/back door taxation measures it is time to do away with direct income taxes like it is under the
    Hotel Incentives Act.

Let's have The People's Incentives Act to include duty free imports of items to be used by the people at home.

Hotels live free of taxes and duties as very little of their earnings come near Jamaica.

Why can't Hotels Agree to pay even 5% income tax for their plantations with no income tax payable by hotel workers.

"Wah fud fi di goose gud fi di gander"

Want to be a winner abolish Income tax and allow each citizen importation of one vehicle at 20% duty every 3 years.
Some civil servants are eligible for 20% Ministers 0% duty.

Level the playing field PM Holness you have nothing to lose.Lets have the benefits for all Jamaicans.
Liberation time come eliminate squatting as first-page of reparations.

Every human being has a right to a liveable space is a UN Charter .
