Support The Clean Up of Mandela Park and Kingston Generally

Halfway Tree

People continue to ignore the rule of law and order in the country and therefore the rest of us must support the authorities in taking appropriate action and should demand that action be taken.

Thanks to the citizen who brought it to my attention that a store has been set up at the entrance of   Mandela Park in Kingston on Suthermere Road. Mayor Swaby and the KSAMC are trying to improve the appearance of our capital. Let us work with the council to ensure Kingston becomes the most beautiful city in the Caribbean.

I expect this matter to be dealt with within a week. Halfway Tree is not looking good and I must condemn the entities and others who supported all those unsightly stalls around the park. We need order in the capital and in the country.

  1. Mr Mckenzie is the one who started this Parochial destruction of half way tree, my firm belief is that no vending on the streets should be permitted on the street side in halfway tree, the Government own a large plot of land in front of mothers fast-food heading towards Eastwood pk rd, that land could be use to place vendors properly

    1. Few persons are willing to organize themselves and make an impact on the political directorate. We must now organize ourselves and work with the KSAMC to make Halfway Tree an attractive place for Jamaicans and visitors.
