Jamaican consumers have been asking about the recall of Fabuloso since it was recalled in the US last year. Persons are expressing concern about the product on the market in Jamaica. Fear is now creeping in because this product is used in many homes.
I will contact the Consumer Affairs Commission and request them to look into the matter. I suggest that consumers await information from the Consumer Affairs Commission before taking any action.

ReplyDeleteIt's a bloody shame someone has to contact the CAC regarding the matter. The country should have been briefed after the issue became a news item. At least a statement saying they are making effort to find out if products here might also be contaminated and how to know if one has the bacteria infested Fabuloso in their homes.
