The Police and The Transport Authority Officers Did Not Chase Illegal Taxi Operator

Two students were killed on December 2, 2024, when an illegal taxi they were travelling in crashed. The accident was between a Toyota Probox taxi and a Subaru motor car.

Some traditional media houses and social media gave the impression that the accident resulted from a chase by police and Transport Authority officers.

The taxi driver and the vehicle owner should be responsible for all medical and other expenses. Taxpayers cannot continue to bear this cost.

  1. From the moment I heard that the man was held at the airport I knew he wasn't chased. If he were chased, then the police and transport authority persons would have been able to nab him at the crash site and would not have allowed him to get to the airport. People need to think.
