| Kingsley Sangster |
Former member of parliament Kingsley Sangser has died. He passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Kingsley is from Williamsfield in St. Elizabeth and is a past student of Excelsior High School and the University of Derby. Kingsley is from the well-known Sangster family, who have been involved in politics, education, and business and other areas of national life. Recently we lost another member of the Sangster clan, the former head of UTECH, the Hon. Dr. Alfred Sangster.

I just received a video that shows there are challenges in Spanish town now. Based on the video that I saw, it seems at least one person is dead. If you have more information, please WhatsApp it to 876 816-5261.
By Delavega City, by the Spanish Town bypass, the road was blocked by citizens. Many prison warders have not been able to turn up for work. Residents in the area are concerned about the security risks this might pose if sufficient wardens are not available to supervise the prisoners.

ReplyDeleteThe state can't afford to retreat. Too much at stake. It's a pity the state of emergency wasn't allowed to continue in 2010 when the police had the criminals on the run. But the extension was voted against cause, it would have brought crime down and make the government at that time look good. Unfortunately, the withdrawal of that arrangement gave the criminals sufficient time to regroup.
