I just received a message from a friend advising me that Jeffrey Cobham has passed away. He passed away on Tuesday, August 12, in the afternoon. He is well-known in the entertainment industry, especially in the area of music and performance. He is an accomplished musician, known for his skills as a jazz pianist and for his contributions to the Jamaican music scene.
He went through a brief period of illness after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
Jeffrey has also been involved in the business sector. He was the head of NCB during the FINSAC period. He was also chairman of SSL.
