One Name Flow, One Name Digicel and Now One Name Rock Connect!

I understand that another communication company will be entering the Jamaican market soon. This reminds me of politics and these third parties. They come on the scene, and then they disappear. 

I receive Internet and cable channel service from Digicel. For about a week now, the picture below is all that has been displayed on my TV screen.


I am also unable to use the phone app to make payments to Digicel. I made a complaint before to Digicel, and I am yet to get a response.

Can the OUR inform me if I will be compensated for this loss of service? Does the OUR track when these companies' services are down? When my bill is not paid on time, I incur a penalty. When these companies do not deliver service, what happens?

I understand there will be a new player in the communication industry. They were called Rock Mobile and are now called Rock Connect. I hope they can give rock-solid service under various conditions.

Based on what I have seen online, this company should be able to deliver Internet at a lower cost in comparison to those in the market. Will they be offering cable TV? Will we have the same issues that we have sometimes with FLOW and Digicel?
Let me know if you have heard about this new kid on the block.

Minister Daryl should be able to comment on this development.

I wonder if other customers are having similar challenges?

    I have a contract with FLOW and they take away the channels that I mostly watch and replaced then with channels I never heard about before. They take away NBC, ABC CBS and then increased my monthly bill. The customer service also socks because I held on for 70 minutes to speak to someone.
