Digicel Can Give Excellent Service!

I am happy to report that Digicel sent two technicians to my home on Monday, February 2, to fix my cable problem. They replaced the cable box and programmed the new box in about 15 minutes.

If you have an old cable box and your TV is not working properly, you might need to have it replaced. It seems to me that Digicel needs more staff to service its customers.

The technicians, Romaile Howell and Hakeem Spence, represent a dying breed of Jamaicans who have been properly socialized, and who understand what giving good customer service means.

The technicians arrived at my home, and they said good morning. I responded. I then accused them of being late. They were shocked at being accused of being late. Nevertheless, they apologized. I then told them I was testing them. These are the kinds of persons we should employ to give excellent service to clients. 

Digicel has a problem if it takes over a year to fix a challenge with the phone app and two weeks to deal with a dysfunctional cable box.

The lesson learned is that when customers demand good service, they will get it.

I hope that the rude technician who was sent to my house on Saturday, January 31, will be given some more training in how to deal with customers before being sent out again.

If you intend to commit a crime, make sure you have a long pocket and a good lawyer.  If it looks like yu salt then just do a plea bargain, and you will be fine. Remember that we have made the hangman redundant, so there is nothing to worry about.

In a worst-case scenario, you will spend a few nights in His Majesty’s hotel at taxpayers’ expense. You will soon be back out, and you can start working on your expungement. After that, no one can call you a criminal because they could end up behind bars.

Someone just sent me this beautiful picture of the Silvera family in what seemed like happier days. They reminded me that the family lost a child before, and it was said the child lost his life when he drowned in a pool. This case should be reopened. What do you think?

There is far more to this Melissa story, more than the court case will reveal. I hope those who know more and were involved in any cover-up understand that God never sleeps. May fine ants take out their vengeance on your conscience until you are forced to confess your wickedness.

Turmoil in Southern Trelawny - One Person Died This Morning?

I have received reports that there have been some violent activities in Litchfield, Trelawny, which resulted in one death this morning. Based on the information that I have received, the matter has to do with a family dispute over land. One informant said the land does not even belong to any of the family members.

At least two people have been assaulted and chopped many times with machetes. Community members claim that the perpetrators of these violent acts have fled the community. I wonder where they have fled to. We need laws that will allow for harsher penalties. If you commit a crime and you run away, then the court should declare you a fugitive. Fugitives should be seen as dangerous, and one would not expect the police to put on white gloves to handle such fugitives.

The scale for dealing with criminals and victims is no longer in balance. There is a possibility of a plea bargain; a conviction can be expunged; mitigating circumstances can lead to less punishment; human rights groups will stand up to ensure that the alleged rights of criminals are not infringed.  What is there for the victims and their families? Please remind me.

The happenings in Trelawny are being kept quiet. Plenty of police public relations activities, but not a word about the events in Trelawny. The nation needs to know who the fugitives are so we can identify them when they try to blend in with other communities.

The situation in Trelawny is not just a police matter; the area needs to have some social workers and counsellors to help these families heal. Right now, residents in the area are wondering who will be chopped up next.

I understand that the police have been active in the area, and illegal guns have been recovered. Let's hope that we will get an official police report soon. The longer we wait for the report, the more work there will be for social media to publish juicy sto

Snow Will Be Falling In Jamaica Soon?

This is what our temperatures are like in Jamaica at 2300 hours EST, February 2, 2026.

Mandeville is now at 14°C. There is no temperature for Blue Mountain. I must check with our meteorologists. Kingston is now enjoying the temperature normally attributed to Mandeville, with 17°C.

South Trelawny is having JPS electricity issues. Residents claim there is no electricity from Ulster Spring to near the border between Manchester and Trelawny. The supply in Christiana, Manchester, is sporadic.

Congratulations to Keznamdi for his Grammy win. He got Best Reggae Album for BLXXD and FYAH.

It is a pity that his grandmother and grandfather are not around to share in his achievement. His grandmother loved music and always encouraged me to play the piano. I met her at Papine High School, in Papine, Jamaica, where she was vice principal, and later on, she acted as principal of the school.

Keznamdi is from a very beautiful and talented family. A family that has served in various areas of national life.

In the early days, I was suspicious about the circumstances surrounding the death of Melissa. That was a fit-looking woman. I wondered what type of natural cause would have taken her out of this world so early. I believed that whoever killed her was a dutty-cold murderer, and there are many more around. It is a pity that Melissa is dead, and so is the death penalty.

A lovely and beautiful woman is dead, leaving four young children, and the murderer is still alive. Long live the murderers!

Contrary to what some might think, most of us could not do what Jolyan Silvera pleaded to in court today. The man is a former PNP member of Parliament. What an embarrassment for Jamaica and the PNP!. 

He should be given an OJ and be nominated for an Oscar award. Di man good!

Come to think of it, I believe that the spirit of Melissa was in Hurricane Melissa on October 28, 2025.

It will be interesting to see how many people comment on this blog.

Down JPSCo Pole Affects Water Supply in Seville Meadows and Surrounding Areas In St. Catherine

 Press Release from the NWC - February 1, 2026

Customers in Seville Meadows Housing Scheme Phase 3, Ebony Vale Housing Scheme, sections of St. John's Road, and Fairview areas in St. Catherine, are advised that their water supply disruption is due to a power outage affecting the Friendship Facility. The outage resulted from a downed JPSCo pole caused by a motor vehicle accident. 

The National Water Commission has reported the matter to the public power service provider and expects the facility to resume regular operations once power is restored. 

The National Water Commission regrets any inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience and understanding of its valued customers.

Yesterday and today have been extremely windy across Jamaica. Winds of over 20 miles per hour in some areas. The weather should continue tomorrow. It was also very cold yesterday and today. Can you believe that this afternoon it was 18°C in Kingston? Let me remind you that it has never snowed in Jamaica.... Jamaica WI.

I heard that yesterday and today it was unusually cold in areas like Mandeville and Coleyville in Manchester. It was also very cold in Albert Town in Trelawny.

In Kingston, there were leaves and twigs all over the ground.
