That Million Maskless Masks, Monkey Demonstration By Vernon Derby

Mask or No Mask

I just got a poster about a  Million Maskless Mask demonstrators who will be walking from Hope Zoo on Hope Road via  Halfway Tree to Down Town, Kingston in Jamaica. I have been trying to make contact with the animals at Hope Zoo without success to confirm this. I understand that none of the animals are accepting responsibility for organizing this Million Maskless Mask. The parrots claim that it was the monkeys idea and it should be called the Million Maskless Masks Monkeys March.

Monkeys Not Amused

The monkeys are not amused by this comment coming from these talkative parrots, because animals are comparing them to human beings, The monkeys claimed that although human beings could be their cousins, they are definitely not as stupid as human beings.

Lions Are The Leaders

The lions claim that as leaders they only lead when something is worth fighting for, and they have no intention to look stupid. The giraffes reported that from their height they cannot see the wisdom of this march. The crocodiles  are now involved in the controversy. They declared that they cannot afford to wear masks because anything that moves close to them they need to recognize them so that they can decide whether or not it could make a tasty meal.

The dogs contend that as part of the security detail, there is no need for them to wear their masks because they are the law.

Donkeys Being Treated As Asses

The donkeys I understand have become more obstinate than before and they are adamant that it is time we stop treating them like jackasses. They went on to say that they have no intention for other animals to take them for a ride.

The pigs say they don't have a problem because they have not been able to find a mask that can fit them properly. The pigs contend that they have to put their nose in everything so they cannot wear mask in any case. It would be impractical to do so.

John Crows Will Oversee Things

The john  crows agreed that they will fly high up and watch the proceedings. They claim that they might be needed to pick up any fallen soldier. The challenge that the crows will have is that there will be no hospitals to take the fallen to, and if anyone dies then certainly there will be no burials.

The management of Hope Zoo has distanced themselves from this Million, Maskless, Masks, March, Monkey demonstration. This is a very strange move since all the animals will be locked up by the Hope Zoo Management and no one will be able to march. The only animals who might be outside will be the dogs. They could end up being deported to Canada if they are caught on the street!.
