I spoke to Mr. Cordell Green this morning and he reminded me that television broadcasting will be going digital in 2023. It might seem to be far off but the change is just around the corner.
Consumers must therefore check to see if the television sets that they are purchasing will be compatible with the new digital system. Mr. Green said that the system to be used is the same system used in the United States of America. Consumers should therefore purchase televisions which are compatible with the ATSC 3.0 Tuner system.
With digital broadcasting more channels will be available for the public.
