TECHNICAL PROBLEM DISRUPTS WATER SUPPLY

The National Water Commission  in a release this evening, advised its customers in sections of St. Andrew, that
the White Marl Systems are presently out of operation as a result of technical problems at the facilities.  As a result, some customers may experience low pressures or no water conditions until the issues have been resolved.

Areas affected are Duhaney Park, sections of Washington Boulevard, Penwood area, Molynes Road and roads leading off .

Work is expected to be completed at  2200 hours, July 19, 2021

Persons are also being reminded to allow for a gradual improvement in pressures as the system recharges.

The NWC says it apologizes to its valued customers for any inconvenience caused and seeks to assure them that every effort is being made to restore regular water supply in the shortest possible time.
