JPS Light Poles Down on Molynes Road

An onlooker reported to me this afternoon, that a truck driving on Molynes Road in a Northerly direction and close to the Queensborough Bridge, tore down some JPS poles and some power lines. Hopefully the area should be cleared by this time time but vehicular traffic should proceed cautiously in this area. What is interesting to note, is when you have a damage like this, the truck is gone and JPS has to take up the cost for repairs. Some will say that the consumers will ultimately pay!

Note:

Please share this blog with motorists who will be travelling to Red Hills, Queensborough, Havendale and surrounding areas via Molynes Road. Thanks.

In this country everone do as they please trucks, taxi, bikes just opperate without regards, and the sad thing is that long before that truck reaches that area police or us civillians will past that truck and no concern would be raise as to its heigth, its destination, its route to that destination until sosomething happen all because we are not alert.

This is very careless action or inaction on the part of the company. This is hazardous to residents and motor vehicle drivers. Where is the urgency to address the issue? Being a monopoly doesn't allow them to be callous and unconcerned about the quality of the services they offer.

This matter is not the fault of JPS. A Truck tore the wires down and JPS had the matter resolved the same day.
