Transportation to a country is synonymous the red corpuscles and the blood vessels of the body Jamaica. If that flow is disrupted Jamaica could get a stroke or a heart attack.
Transportation in a country is more than a hustle for people to "eat a food" or a backdoor taxation/ticketed parasitic host for a government.
Transportation is the lifeblood of any country and could account for more than as 40% of GDP when you add up all the infrastructure, buildings, vehicles private and public, roads, highways, air,
rail and sea transportation. There should be an established Independent Transportation Studies Institute to guide integrated holistic action, investments and policy in this critical industry.A poorly organized and inefficient transportation sector can slow or even halt development,
productive output and growth of an economy.I guarantee you that most people in that industry have no such outlook and that aids the breeding of the apparent indiscipline ,chaos, crime and disorder in the country on the roads and elsewhere. When you hear a significant body promising "jail for Christmas gift" for taxi and bus drivers you know the level of decadence and lack of critical thinking being applied to the Transportation Industry from the government level to the back up man with a baton ordering commuters and operators around under threats of harm or injury. In such a case of disorder even laws become irrelevant as mob rule takes over. For example the Transport Authority is no such authority but an incestuous backdoor taxation and fake policing organization with no sense of direction but to create a national debilitating stroke or heart attack.Where are the holistic thinkers and actors to rescue this nation.
