Hon. Dr. Lloyd Barnett OJ |
SpotOn on Riddim FM, is the people's show, the people's university, and the people's parliament. They say that it is the fastest growing show in Jamaica now, helping to protect the interest of the people and helping to deepen the democratic process. It's informative, it's entertaining and it's engaging. SpotOn is heard on Riddim FM from 1000 to 1300 hours EST., Monday to Friday each week.
Dr. The Hon. Lloyd Barnett O.J will be my guest on SpotOn on, Monday, February 27. Dr. Barnett attended Greenwich Primary School between 1939 and 1944, following which he obtained his secondary education at Calabar High School in Kingston (1945-1950). Dr. Barnett holds the B.A. (1954), the LL. B. (Honours, 1957); the LL.M. (1960) and the Ph. D. (1966), all of the University of London. He was admitted to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in December 1960.
I intend to have a talk with Dr. Barnett about what changes that re necessary in our country. Many feel that change means, just not having the King of England as our Head of State. Let us know what you think by sending a voicemail to 876 816-5261. For example, do you believe that we should be able to elect senators, directly elect our Mayors and also our Leader of Government? Do you believe in term limits for our political leaders? Should political leaders be retired when they reach a certain age?
