More Water Challenges

Comment On A Previous Blog

The following is a comment made by someone who read a previous blog about water challenges:

"Kingston is "really" Jamaica as the people in the Steer Town,Chalky Hill,Davis Town region has not had water for about 3 weeks and there is no publication I am aware of regarding the challenge..Generally people in some of those areas reliable water supplies is intermittent morning supply so you better store water for throughout the days.NWC should treat rural people better than that.

The area affected cross constituencies most of it is Marsha Smith's and part Lisa Hanna in St Ann."

Information from National Water Commission

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in and around the Havendale Drive area that the disruption currently being experienced, is as a result of a defective network valve.

The company is presently working to resolve the problem and is estimating to complete by 5pm, today Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Impacted areas: Havendale Drive and off roads

The NWC regrets any inconvenience that may be caused to its valued customers.
