NWC Notice



The following information is from the National Water Commi

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that the #2 Pumping Unit at the Molynes Booster Facility is out of operation due to a mechanical fault.

Whilst the Facility remains operational, customers are likely to experience low pressures or intermittent no water conditions. 

In the interim, the company is working to resolve the problem in the shortest possible time. 

Impacted areas: Queensborough, Queensbury, Perkins Boulevard, Patrick City and environs

The NWC apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused to its valued customers.

Kingston is "really" Jamaica as the people in the Steer Town,Chalky Hill,Davis Town region has not had water for about 3 weeks and there is no publication I am aware of regarding the challenge..Generally people in some of those areas reliable water supplies is intermittent morning supply so you better store water for throughout the days.NWC should treat rural people better than that.
    The area affected cross constituencies most of it is Marsha Smith's and part Lisa Hanna in St Ann.

  3. I have never received a complaint from you about the problem in the Steer Town, Chalky Hill and Davis town. Both MPs have been invited to come on radio to update their constituents about what is being done in their constituencies.

  4. What I dont understand is,why are these areas ALWAYS affected these days??? I think we are some of the best paying customers..deep sigh..omg...Jamaica is so backwards!

  5. There is no water in Negril from yesterday. This is very unusual happening in this area in recent times. Serious implications for the hotel industry. I haven't been able to get a shower since. Nonsense
