Kiana Jackson will join me for Talk Yu Talk. She will be telling us about the challenges of having lupus and she will also be talking about the big event which will take place at the Emancipation Park in Kingston on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. It will be a free health fair plus a talent show and SpotOn will be broadcasting from the event.
Kiana Jackson is a poet, actor, proud lupus warrior, and student of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and performing arts, School of Drama who was born and raised in a rural community in the parish of St. Ann. Kiana discovered her love for drama at a tender age, used it to overcome her struggles as a teenager and now intends to develop her talent and also use her platform to help others. She is currently the Communication Director of the Remarkable Arts Company and currently the Youth Spokesperson for the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica. Currently, she is pursuing her degree in the Bachelor of Arts in Drama in Education
Prof Sean Thorpe |
Professor Sean Thorpe will join me for The Work Place. He is the Dean of Engineering and Computing at the University of Technology former President of the Jamaica Computer Society, with a combined over 25 years of industry and academic experience in cyber security, and telecommunications. Professor Thorpe holds a Ph.D. in Computer science with extensive published peer-reviewed research in cloud forensics, systems security, and artificial intelligence.
