Moreland Wilson Westmoreland Western MP, to Join Vernon Derby on SpotOn

Morland Wilson MP

Our special guest during My Representative on SpotOn which will be aired on Riddim FM, Thursday, July 6, will be Morland Wilson. He is the member of Parliament for Westmoreland Western. Reports coming from the constituency are that he went into an area to listen to the concerns of his constituents and the residents became extremely abusive. I saw a video of what transpired and it was a display of the most boorish, crude, abusive, and threatening behaviour.

We will hear from Morland Wilson about this incident. Parliamentarians are democratically elected to serve the whole community. Citizens therefore ought to respect their political leaders whether or not they support the party to which their representative belongs. Political leaders should also treat their constituents with respect.

If you are a member of Mr. Wilson's constituency and you were present during the confrontation, please send me a WhatsApp message at 876 816-5261. I would love to hear your side of the story.

Opal Lee will join me for Travel Matters on Thursday also. Those who plan to visit or plan to migrate to the United States should not miss Travel Matters.

SpotOn is a show on Jamaican radio that is spot-on. It is the people's show where the people set the agenda.

  2. The thing is this the people want the MP to do everything one time and it can't work like that some of the MP are working very hard

  3. Funny thing is that the former mp did nothing for that constituency for the many many years he was there and those people had no problem with him. They now expect this mp to do everything in 3 years.
