Thanks...Thanks...Thanks... It's My Birthday


Vernon Derby

Thanks to all those who have given me support over the years and in particular for the last two years. The road has been a rough and lonely one sometimes, but I continue to do the things that I enjoy doing, which include serving others. 

It is said that we should do good and good will follow you. Yesterday this came home to me even more. There is a Jamaican who is fighting for his life - a man who I don't even know, who decided to share a hand of kindness with me. There are definitely good people in the world still.

This month I shall be off the airways and I am not sure what next. I have learned that we are not in control of many things so we have to go with the flow.

Today is my birthday and I give God thanks for another day. Yes, I give thanks because more than once I could have been just a part of history. Have a great day my friend.
