Who Nyam a Road Wi Nyam.........!!!

Cleansing herself where she is selling food!!!

My On The Ground Reporters sent me pictures that could make one smile, cringe or even vomit. These pictures featured some of the violence and sexual activities in our schools. You might have seen a video with a health worker fighting a student over her man on the school compound. There is another video of a student physically attacking a younger student who became unconscious. That student is now battling for his life in the hospital. It is reported that students raped a schoolgirl this week. I also saw a picture of a schoolgirl sucking what appears to be a stick, but on closer inspection, I saw a young schoolboy spread out on his back as the videographer, taking a selfie of this girl enjoying this stick like it was a piece of sugar cane.

There was another circulated video with a young man lying relaxed on his back on a bed while this woman was having the time of her life with her stick of sugar cane. A young girl about eight years old, was the sole spectator in the bedroom. I forwarded these pictures to the police because these children need to be under state care.

This is a month to remember. The nation was shocked at pictures showing over 60 students who became ill after eating sweets sold by an unknown vendor, who had set up a business close to the school. I am surprised that no one took a picture of him. We are quick to take pictures of gruesome scenes, yet no one took a picture of this man.

This afternoon I got the number one picture. A picture of a street food vendor who after relieving her body of some extra load, decided to drop her shorts, to ensure that all was clean. After completing her cleansing job, she dropped the paper in a box on the ground. Without missing a beat, she continued to serve her customers. I got a video shortly afterwards with the other vendors berating the videographer for capturing this scene.

I am proud to say that I know how to boil water and make tea with even mango leaves. When I come home, I know how to make a sardine sandwich. I don't have to buy food from vendors on the street. My mother Miss Fisher brought me up well. She warned me about those who believed in obeah and who would put a little oil of dis or dat in the food to encourage you to buy again.

Note: I couldn't post those pictures because you might have a nightmare tonight. Can you imagine if you have in the past, enjoyed the tasty crabs which were finger-licking good?

Click to listen to the comments of these vendors, who did a good job of covering up the nastiness of their colleagues. Tomorrow we will see how many walk-foot and BMWs will be parked by the sidewalk waiting to purchase from these nasty people. Oonu too lazy. Cook a oonu yard?
