A post which has gone viral stating that the current Commission of Police will be appointed to the Senate and be given the job of Minister of National Security is false.
The political tides are rising and we can expect many fake ships to set sail. Much of the false political information is not even linked to the political parties but to persons who have found a new toy and a new power in social media.
We can control that power by not believing and sharing posts which cannot be confirmed.

ReplyDeleteSocial media has given power to the previously powerless. Normally this is a good thing but as we have seen, much of it has been devious at the least and often dangerous. It has become the most successful propaganda tool ever.
ReplyDeleteI see that post from yesterday, the first thing I notice was the question sign, therefore, I didn't pay much attention to it.
