The following message was received from a Bark Di Trute and a SpotOn supporter today April 13, 2024:
JPS text message received by the customer. Greetings Mr D. I had to share this. I am boggled at why we keep having repeated blunders with simple matters relating to Customer Service. JPS as shown above sent me a text at 8:22 am this morning Saturday, April 13,2024, to inform me of a *PLANNED*outage to start at 9:00 am this morning.
I note the word *PLANNED*- not an emergency. Yet with all the planning, I got the text a little over 1/2 hour before the scheduled time to cut power. Aye sah! Then guess what, I engaged someone to iron for me today. She paid the bus fare to get here - naturally, I had to refund her. I'm eager to hear what JPS will say about this untimely *PLANNED*outage. We've got to get it right!!!!
