Funeral Home Loses Millions - Bark Di Trute to The Rescue

LP Funeral Home at Baileys Vale in Port Maria has had challenges with its telephone service. The owner claims persons were able to answer calls directed to his number. He contacted me for assistance and the matter was resolved.

Now, the telephone line is disconnected and the owner claims that his business is losing from the loss of his line. He says the company lost approximately $4.8M in revenue due to the disconnection of the business phone.

I have contacted FLOW and the matter is being investigated. I sent a letter to FLOW today and received a call this afternoon. Thanks to Sophia Morgan at FLOW.

  1. That is great news! Can Bark The Truth assist with a nonprofit social services agency whose phone line has been down since November 2023? The organisation has been using a cell phone but the nonfunctional number is the number listed in the directory and online. No voice-mail or call forwarding is possible. Many persons are unable to receive critical services as a result.

  3. This 'investigation' of the line is all too familiar, is it just poor customer service again and again?? I have been waiting on Flow to investigate and correct a line for almost a year, their best response is that I've been given a ticket number for reference and I'll be communicated with after their 'investigation'!! This is on Dillsbury Avenue, Kingston 6 well Flow I'm still waiting! Fortunately, it's not a business where my income is affected however, it is still a grave inconvenience.
WE MUST DEMAND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ALL THESE PLACES WHERE WE SPEND OUR HARD EARNED $$$!!! PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!! There is a flip side as well however, frustration can sometimes bring out the worst in us.
