Health Minister Remains Hospitalized in Stable Condition

Minister Christopher Tufton

KINGSTON, Jamaica. Sunday, June 2, 2024: Health & Wellness Minister, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, MP remains under the care of the health team at the University Hospital of the West Indies following an accident this morning (Sunday, June 2). He is in stable condition and is now resting after surgery on his wrist and knee. 

Dr. Tufton is in good spirits and will remain in hospital overnight. The Minister has thanked members of the public, who have kept him in their prayers and have sent their best wishes. 

The Health & Wellness team, along with the regional health authorities wishes him a full and speedy recovery.
