Just got a report that soldier killed at a checkpoint in Denham Town. No confirmation from police as yet and I have no further details.
I received another report of two market vendors shot and killed in Mango Walk Lane, Mountainside, St. Elizabeth, during the early morning on Friday.

When the guns bark,
The people don't talk
The government doesn't see
While the society bleeds
But who cares about the deceased and the future victims to be?
What a state of affairs
All we have are fear.
Nobody cares
Jamaica needs to take crime in habd with bi partisan approach. The Police force needs cleaning and bless those Police who are doing their best. Go after gang members from both parties. The crime can be solved although not easily.
People care, I care, you care, what can we do? What are we expected to do? We cry for our brothers and sisters pain, we write letters to the editor, we write comments in blogs, we protest, I've done them all, I'd like to do more but what??
A lot of us are listening, do tell us what to do. We Pray but prayer & faith without works is dead!
We Love Jamaica and we want a Peaceful, Safe, Just & Gang Free Country....HOW?!
