I have been bombarded with messages about Parliament not meeting on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. I checked with some parliamentarians and they have confirmed that they received notices that Parliament will meet next Tuesday, September 24, 2024. I also received an advertisement shown below about a meeting planned by the PNP for next Tuesday:
Mr. Fitz Jackson a PNP MP, says that when there will a sitting of parliament, members of the house are usually informed by the Friday evening before. No confirmation was received up to Friday evening, therefore the PNP took it to mean that there would be no meeting of Parliament next Tuesday. The PNP therefore, arranged it's own meeting.
Mr. Fitz Jackson said that a notice was received on Sunday, September 22 at 4:40 pm without an agenda confirming the Parliament meeting.
Based on information that I have, the PNP could still have the Peoples Parliament Meeting one day next week. In the meantime Bark Di Trute Supporters, let us keep a cool head because the political pot is getting hot.
