Quincy Jones, the composer and producer involved the the recordings by everyone from Ray Charles to Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, has died. He was 91. Many will remember him as the producer for Michael Jackson's Album, Thriller.
He died Sunday night at his home in Bel Air, California, surrounded by his children, siblings and other family members, international news agencies have reported.
Although Jones is a well-known jazz and pop musician, He was also a prolific cross-genre arranger, conductor, record label executive, and civil rights advocate.
