    1. It is sad that Bolt lost his money, but this is not the first time Jamaicans have lost funds. The government is responsible for regulating the system, but businesspeople and investors have to understand that they have to do their own due diligence. If you don't, you will end up buying 'you know what' from Miss Alice at crab circle.

Miss Alice was exposed to training by a government institution, but I certainly would not go back to purchase crabs from Miss Alice. Jamaicans are now flocking there again. We should all learn from that Miss Alice story. I must tell you, I knew long ago Usain would be in trouble just like other famous people. There are many shops on the street operating legally, but you have to choose the best shop from which to purchase, or you will get pus-eena bag.

    2. We should remember that while the government is in charge of the country, Bolt did not enter into an agreement with the government to invest his money. His money was invested at SSL which is not a government entity.

    3. Jamaicans and people in it self will blame governments for what went wrong with some else happenings. This is why TRUMP is doing his thing and not listening to nobody. Yes he was appointed...wish him well no man and get off the damn political truck. I concur . Government didn't tell Bolt where to put his money.

  2. Nice! Stroke of genius. It will confuse ,and silence, the people who politically tries to link the Government with SSL and the loss of Bolt's investment.

  3. So let me ask: govt has no oversight of these institutions?

    1. Government has oversight but that does not absolve us from our reponsibility to do due diligence. The government is not the parent of the people and we are the children. This is not the first time people are losing money so we all have a responsibility to be careful. If we love crab too much Miss Alice crab wi ketch wi again.
