I have been informed that there is a fire on Spanish Town Road. You should avoid that area. I have been bombarded with calls from people who want information about where the fire is and where they should avoid. This fire could have an impact on the traffic this afternoon.
I am appealing to the Fire Brigade Service and the Police to use the Emergency Alert system to get information to the media now so that people can be informed and not depend on information on many social media platforms, which might not get it right.
