The Geological Society of Jamaica is inviting the geological community to participate in the 21st Caribbean Geoscience Conference, which will be held in Kingston, Jamaica, in June 2025. This is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Society.
The conference will provide a forum for exchanging geological and associated information related to the Greater Caribbean Region (including northern South America, Central America, southern North America and the Caribbean). The conference will be organized into thematic sessions (which will largely be based on abstract submissions) and will allow participants to see the aspects of the varied geology of Jamaica in a series of pre-conference and post-conference field excursions.
The conference will be held in Kingston, Jamaica, and include oral and dedicated poster presentations, workshops, and pre- and post-conference field trips. A range of accommodation options will be available in and around the conference venue, and more affordable alternatives will be arranged at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies (with a shuttle bus service to the conference venue).
There will be presentations, workshops, and field trips.
