The Jamaican people are getting frustrated with the brutality of our criminals. Many feel that people are more concerned about the criminals than the victims. More and more people are taking the law into their own hands.
The man in the video above was inflicted with prolonged stinging lashes from this bushwhacker. I can just imagine how plastic from the whacker tore into his flesh. The information I have is that he stole a goat.
The video above shows one man severely beating another with a board, and the information sent to me stated that the man being beaten subsequently died. You will notice that most people continue to pass without showing any concern!

Just look at this TikTok enjoying himself and a gunman just creeped up behind him and blew his brains out. This happened on Red Hills Road this week. Some of us are concerned that mercy should be shown to children who are murderers, but there are those who believe that all murderers should be treated as adults.

The people act like that because there is no justice or they are of the perception that there is none in the country.
ReplyDeleteThe first video shows the lack of justice and believe in the justice system. So, jungle justice was seen as quality justice.
In the second video, the perpetrator doesn't fear the system as it's dysfunctional. Whatever the situation, he fearlessly took matters into his own hands without regard for consequences.
Child murderers? Murder is a wey serious crime. Depending on the circumstances. Parents ought to be held accountable for the actions of their young ones. Well it depends. In a case where the parents cannot be held accountable, then, the child should be charged as per the conditions set out in the law. Should the laws be ammended? With caution. Focus on the adults for now, as the children are merely imitating the adults. The adults are apparently being shown so much mercy and leniency by the system, that the children think they can do it too and get off. Obviously, we are not talking about young children or those who don't fully understand their actions but at the same time they must be sensitized regarding the consequences of committing murder. Some honestly do not believe they can br charged, as they don't fully understand how a society functions.
I am thankful that most of these atrocities are caught on camera because they have been happening for a very long time. People talked about them in whispered voices, but they were not evidenced by videos or pictures, and you can't report a crime on heresy. Every incident recorded should be shared with the police, the location, and names of parties involved even if the government names are not known to give their street names. People are evil, and silence only makes them worse.
ReplyDeleteChildren who commit murders are to be kept in juvenile centres, educated, and tried as adults when they reach the age of majority, and are cognizant fully of evil that they perpetuated against another person.
In many instances, the children are a reflection of the parents. However, when these parents have their precious ones removed from their homes, they will begin to adequately parent those remaining in the homes, or better yet stop having children they can not adequately care for.
