Traffic Challenges in Harbour View

Those who work on our streets, fixing our roads, or fixing equipment for the utility organisations do not seem to care about the public. If they did, notices would be sent out in advance advising road users about work that will be done and that motorists should avoid the area.

Jungle Justice Is Illegal, but It Works!

People are getting impatient with criminals. The picture below shows swift justice. We can stop actions like these by ensuring that criminal acts are dealt with expeditiously.

Normally, people complain about police brutality, but many citizens are taking a no-nonsense approach to crime. A trial is normally short, and justice is delivered immediately. Some will call it jungle justice, but the people are tired of the criminals.

This is Riverton City Dump Cross Roads. I understand that this dump belongs to the UDC. I wonder who is collecting rent for this valuable piece of property in that prime commercial area. I understand that rent is probably being collected, but it is not going into the coffers of the UDC. Mr. Norman Brown, Board Chairman, and Mr. L. Robert Honeghan, General Manager, are you aware of this?

This is a fire hazard. If someone drops a cigarette in this area, several business places could go up in flames. The insurance companies should be paying attention to Cross Road because they might have to make some heavy compensatory payments soon.

Sam Carty, the president of the Cross Roads Route Taxi Association, spoke to Bark Di Trute about this disgusting situation.

This area would be an ideal area to construct a four-story or more building where taxis and buses can park, and you also have vending areas. The rooftop could also be used for marketing, promotional activities, and other events. Can you imagine that you could take a bus to this transport centre in Cross Roads and then hire a taxi to your exact location?

The question is, who is in charge? When no one is in charge, then everyone takes charge and chaos rules.

Old Harbour Road Tan Bad - Fix It A Beg Oonu!

I wish we could go back to the days when the parish council fixed our roads and someone was responsible for a length of road. They did not wait until the potholes became sinkholes before they fixed them.

Now, the NWA (National Wutless Agency) fix the pothole today, it rains tomorrow, and the next day the road has to be fixed again. That is how money runs a Jamaica until it runs out of poor people's pockets. Stephen Shaw then comes on the radio to give the excuses. The money it cost to put him on the radio could be used to fix the roads.

The End of a BMW

This is the end of a BMW which tears cannot repurchase. The message I received said this happened in downtown Kingston.
